Katy Nichole

Singer/songwriter Katy Nichole became a viral sensation in 2022 when her inspirational debut single, "In Jesus Name (God of Possible)," soared to the top of multiple CCM charts. The song picked up a Dove Award-nomination for Song of the Year and helped both her eponymous debut EP and her 2023 full-length, Jesus Changed My Life, reach the Top Ten of the Christian Albums Chart. The Arizona native spent her formative years battling scoliosis. After enduring numerous surgeries, she experienced what she describes as "supernatural healing," which helped to reinforce her faith. She became a worship leader at The Grove in Phoenix and started writing music shortly after that. Parsing through the numerous prayer journals composed during her lengthy hospital stays, she wrote "God of Possible" and posted it on social media. The song attracted millions of views and caught the attention of Centricity Music, which quickly added Nichole to its roster. Working with a team of co-writers, she re-wrote "God of Possible" as "In Jesus Name (God of Possible)" and headed into the studio. Released in 2022, the song's message of healing and hope struck a chord with CCM audiences and shot to the top of several charts. A second single, "God Is in This Story," which saw Nichole team up with Big Daddy Weave, arrived later that year. Both songs appeared on her eponymously titled debut EP, which hit number seven on Billboard's Top Christian Albums chart. By the end of the year, "In Jesus Name (God of Possible)" had also garnered her a Dove Award nomination for Song of the Year. In February 2023, Nichole returned with her full-length debut album, Jesus Changed My Life. Buoyed by her previously released singles, the album reached number three on the Top Christian Albums chart.
