Jesse Jo Stark
Los Angeles native Jesse Jo Stark grew up at the crossroads of fashion and music. The daughter of fashion designers Richard and Laurie Lynn Stark, whose luxury rock & roll brand, Chrome Hearts, is a staple worn by everyone from Jay-Z to Nikki Sixx, Jesse's immersion in rock culture and show business has been a constant in her life. As a teenager she created her own signature designs for both her parents' brand and for skate shoe empire Vans. Musically, Stark has gravitated toward a punk attitude with gothy-Americana undertones and cites the Cramps, Loretta Lynn, and David Bowie as influences. In 2014, she worked with family friend and former Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones to record her debut EP, Down Your Drain. Launching her own label, Stark reappeared in 2017 with a new single, the moody, Mazzy Star-esque "Driftwood."
