Jakarta
Jakarta is an offshoot of the Alsatian label Hype Traxx, which specializes in dance projects and artists. Alan Pride, Dave King, David Kane and Danny Wild are the four DJ producers behind the Jakarta concept. Jakarta is a virtual character, a sort of male Baby Lilly, whose track "One Desire " was a big hit in summer 2008. A big hit in clubs, it reached No. 5 in the charts. jakarta's new track, "Superstar ", was released on January 12, 2009, but was slow to chart.
