Huddy

Fusing pop, punk, and alternative influences, HUDDY speaks for the misfits. He expanded his social media stardom into a musical realm with his Geffen-released 2021 debut album, Teenage Heartbreak. He followed it with a scattering of singles including 2023's "Slowly Healing." HUDDY grew up Cole Hudson in Stockton, California, with a musical family. His dad played the guitar, ukulele, and banjo, his mom earned a college scholarship in music, and his older sister sang in choir. Over the years, he developed his singing as well as influences that ranged from My Chemical Romance and All American Rejects to Michael Jackson and Bruno Mars to XXXTentacion. Under the name LILHUDDY, he first found a creative outlet on social media, where he gained tens of millions of followers and billions of likes on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. He officially began his music career in 2020, and appeared in Machine Gun Kelly's musical film Downfalls High, which arrived in January 2021. That month, LILHUDDY released his raw debut single, "21st Century Vampire," on Geffen. His second single, "Eulogy of You and Me," arrived in February. Subsequent singles "America's Sweetheart" and "Don't Freak Out" followed, and all of these previously shared tracks were included on his 2021 debut LP, Teenage Heartbreak. The album made the front half of Billboard's Heatseekers chart, after which he shortened his name simply to HUDDY for 2022's "All the Things I Hate About You" and 2023's "Slowly Healing."
