Enigmatic German DJ and singer horsegiirL is an EDM, house, and pop performer who keeps her identity hidden under a chestnut-colored horse mask. Emerging in 2022, she broke through in 2023 with her viral hit "My Barn My Rules" and has remained a club favorite with tracks like "Obsessed" and "Take It Off."Based in Berlin, horsegiirL debuted in 2022 with the single "Harvest Heartbreak," featuring the duo Baugruppe90. A second single, "Farm Fantasies," followed soon after, with "Starsiigns" and "Pegasus" rounding out her year. However, it was her June 2023 collaboration with MCR-T, "My Barn My Rules," that proved her breakthrough, going viral online and even getting played on BBC Radio. "F0rbiidden L0ve$tory," a reworking of Avril Lavigne's "Sk8er Boi," appeared that October, followed in December by the holiday-themed "Wish ✮." More singles arrived from horsegiirL in 2024, including "Obsessed," "Eat, Sleep, Slay," and "Take It Off." She kicked off 2025 with "v.i.p. Very Important Pony."
