Greg Dean
Alternately known as GB Collective, Greg Dean is an R&B-oriented songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from South Africa. Prolific as a collaborator, he has been part of a few major hits in his native country, including Black Coffee's "Even Though" and Bantu Soul's "Having You Around," and has assisted well over a dozen other artists. After he released the GB Collective album Collective Conscience in 2013, he worked on a set of refined, sophisticated R&B with well-regarded U.S. artists such as Eric Roberson, Chantae Cann, and Jarrod Lawson. Issued in Japan via Sweet Soul and in the U.S. via Purpose, it was released as The Greg Dean Project, while in the U.K. via Dome, it was known as Unconditional Love. The ballad-heavy collection reached all three territories during the first third of 2016.
