Emir Can İğrek

Turkish alt-pop singer-songwriter Emir Can İğrek (born April 2, 1993 in Çerkezköy, Turkey) began flexing his vocal muscle as a teenage tenor at the Nazim Hikmet Academy Choir before releasing his debut album, Ağır Roman, in 2018. The following year, he was named Most Powerful Newcomer of the Year at the PowerTürk Music Awards while also earning the titled of Most Admired Male Singer at the Altınyıldız Classics Stars of the Year Awards (YTU). He has worked behind-the-scenes composing songs for artists including Funda Arar and Ferhat Göçe, as well as completing collaborations with Zeynep Bastik – 2020's "Dargın" – "Patron" with Darbe and more. He dropped four new singles in 2021: "Bıraktım Şaşırmayı," "Zemin," "Memur" and "Çiftetelli."
