Dúo Coplanacu
Argentinean folk group Duo Coplanacu was formed in 1985 by singer/guitarist Roberto Cantos and singer/percussionist Julio Paz, who moved from their native Santiago del Estero to Córdoba to start playing together. After issuing a self-titled album in 1991, followed by Retiro Al Norte, the duet was joined by violinist Andrea Leguizamón, making Paisaje in 1997 and Desde Adentro in 1999. A year later, a live album recorded at la Trastienda was released under the name of El Encuentro.
