Don McGlashan
New Zealand native Don McGlashan began his prolific career in the percussion ensemble From Scratch in 1979. He spent two years as the drummer for punk band Blam Blam Blam before forming the music/theater/film act the Front Lawn with Harry Sinclair in 1985. He fronted the successful alternative rock outfit the Mutton Birds until the group disbanded in 2002. McGlashen has since composed music for film and television and released a solo album, 2006's Warm Hand, with his current band, the Seven Sisters.
