Dominik Scherrer

Dominik Scherrer, a Swiss-British composer born in 1967 in Zurich, Switzerland, has made significant contributions to film, theatre, and television music. Dominik Scherrer is renowned for his unique blend of musical genres, crafting scores that enhance the narrative and emotional depth of the projects he works on. Among his famous works are the soundtracks for The Honeytrap (2007), Scenes of a Sexual Nature (2006), and Monroe (2011). Dominik Scherrer's talent has been recognized with multiple awards and nominations, including winning the Best Television Soundtrack at the 2014 Ivor Novello Awards for his work on Ripper Street, and nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Music Composition for a Miniseries, Movie, or a Special for The Missing (2015).
