Chester D.T. Baldwin
Chester D.T. Baldwin combines traditional and contemporary gospel in a highly energized manner. A native of Liberty, Texas, the singer, composer, and producer was baptized into his local Trinity Valley Baptist Church and was its minister of music at the age of 15. Supported by his Music Ministry Mass Choir (aka M3), Baldwin released his first album, Sing It on Sunday Morning!, in 2000. The release reached number 11 on Billboard's gospel chart and led to Stellar and Soul Train award nominations. Sing It on Sunday Morning II: Just Having Chu'ch!, recorded live in Austin, Texas, arrived in 2003. As he became well-known as a gospel workshop clinician and performed throughout the United States and on multiple continents, Baldwin continued to record occasionally with Music Ministry Mass Choir, as heard on the albums Music That Ministers III: God Is Guilty and Music That Ministers IV: I Shall Live.
