Ben Wolfe
Ben Wolfe's first exposure to music came when in high school in Portland, Oregon in which he played bass guitar in pop groups, as well as tuba and trombone in the school band. After receiving double bass lessons in college, he formed a duo with Harry Connick, Jr. in 1988, before recording several albums as part of Connick's big band. Wolfe then went on to record and tour with the likes of Wynton Marsalis and Diana Krall, performing on her Grammy Award-winning album 'When I Look in Your Eyes'.
A successful musician in his own right, Wolfe has also recorded several albums as leader which have been received well amongst his peers and jazz fans alike. Wolfe joined the faculty of the world-renowned Julliard School on their Jazz Division in 2002.
