Artemas
Artemas Diamandis, who operates under the mononym Artemas, is an English songwriter and producer with an assured alt-pop sound that pairs relatable lyrics with earworm melodies, '90s guitar hooks, funk beats, and contemporary R&B flair. The Oxfordshire native aspired to be an actor before discovering Nirvana at the age of 16. Inspired by a wide range of artists, including Bruno Mars, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Rex Orange County, the self-taught multi-instrumentalist issued his debut single, "High 4 U," in 2020. More singles followed, including the streaming hits "I'm Trynna Tell U That I Love U" and "Real Life," which both appeared on his debut long-player, I'm Sorry I'm Like This, in 2022. Artemas kept the momentum going in 2023, releasing a new song every month, with "Cross My Heart" and "If U Think I'm Pretty" garnering millions of streams.
