Angela Brownridge

British pianist and composer Angela Brownridge gave her first public performance at age seven, and was a concerto soloist by the age of 14. She attended Edinburgh University on a scholarship, and continued her studies in Rome. She also studied with Maria Curcio on an Arts Council Award and a stipend from the Vaughan Williams Trust. Brownridge has appeared internationally in concerto performances and solo recitals in Great Britain, Europe, the United States, Canada, and Asia, and has been a guest artist at the Bath International Music Festival and the Edinburgh International Festival. She has recorded for Challenge Classics, Cameo Classics, EMI, Delphian, ASV, and Hyperion.
