América Sierra
The songwriter behind hits from El Bebeto ("Corazon de Acero"), La Arrolladora Banda el Limon ("Que No Me Vengas"), and 3BallMty ("Inentalo"), America Sierra also maintains a solo career. Born in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Sierra toured throughout Mexico and the Southern U.S. promoting her own music, but in 2011 she met composer Luciano Luna, who helped her launch her career behind the scenes, writing for artists like Julio Chaidez and Banda Rancho Viejo. Her big break came in 2012 when her work on 3BallMty's massively successful single "Inentalo" earned numerous Billboard Awards for Latin Music including Song of the Year. A year later, she released the solo effort El Amor Manda, her debut album for the Fonovisa label.
