Alex Brightman

Sophia Anne Caruso, born on July 11, 2001, in Spokane, Washington, is an American actress and singer renowned for originating Lydia Deetz in the Broadway musical Beetlejuice, earning her a Theatre World Award. Her career began in Spokane's theatre scene before moving to New York at eleven to pursue professional acting. Sophia Anne Caruso has demonstrated versatility in theatre, music, and film, highlighted by her roles in Lazarus and The School for Good and Evil. As a singer, she released singles "Toys" (2020) and "Snow & Ice" (2022), with plans for an EP. Her discography includes contributions to original cast recordings of Lazarus (2016) and Beetlejuice (2019).
