Oliver Malcolm

An eclectic left-field pop artist with strong production skills and a moody, atmospheric tone, Oliver Malcolm got his start as a collaborator in Los Angeles before launching a solo career in 2020 with singles like "Outside" and "Switched Up." The latter song appeared on his 2021 debut EP, Are You Living in the Real World? A second EP, Act One, arrived in 2022. Though born in Sweden, Malcolm was raised in London, where as a teenager he took an interest in DJ'ing and later verged into production. Pulling from a diverse set of influences and developing quickly into a multifaceted wunderkind who could write, produce, sing, and rap, he first gained experience under the name Bigg Kid. After moving to Los Angeles, he landed collaborative credits with big names like MF Doom, IDK, and Joey Bada$$. By the age of 20, Malcolm felt ready to debut his own music and leapt out of the gates with the entrancing "Switched Up" in early 2020. Additional singles followed, including the glitchy, acoustic "Outside" and the bluesy, groove-driven "Kevin" on the Interscope label. He kicked off 2021 with the brash and hooky "Skywalker," which appeared on the EP Are You Living in the Real World? The vibrant single "Rolling Stone" arrived the following year. A punchier single, "Baby Don't Go," anchored Malcolm's 2022 EP Act One.
