" to the rock 'n' roll of "Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea", her greatest commercial success to date, without forgetting her numerous collaborations with John Parish with whom she recorded two albums including "Dance Hall At Louse Point", but also Nick Cave, Tricky, Thom Yorke, Björk… Over the last ten years or so her music has taken on a more human and political dimension. With "Let England Shake", she approached the international politics of her country and won her first Mercury Prize after having been nominated three times for her previous works. Five years later, she released "The Hope Six Demolition Project", an album inspired by her travels to Kosovo, Afghanistan and Washington D.C., which earned her a Grammy nomination, the fourth of her career.
