Larry Weaver
Comedian-songwriter Larry Weaver relishes the peculiar wit of Adam Sandler, defining his own brandish style of humor. He began crafting his creative comical stylings while in college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, just outside his rural hometown and several talent showcases allowed for quick praise around Chapel Hill. Despite earning a business degree, Weaver worked toward his passion for comedy and music and established the Selected Hilarity improv troupe with four other comedians. His first regular gig was in Chicago at the Weird Al Yankovic fan convention, AlCon, and later he landed gigs at some of New York's biggest spots: Caroline's Comedy Club, The Comic Strip, and The Comedy Cellar.
Weaver also became a favorite at various colleges & universities and festivals across the nation, becoming popular with his song parodies about his family, boy bands, and life in general. As the new millennium came to a head, Weaver put his various comedy sketches together for an album Everybody's Crazy But Me!. Having appeared on Dr. Demento's show, Weaver was also the runner up for www.comedy.com's fan poll for 1998 Comedian of the Year as well and 1999's Hot Comedy Pick for Campus Activities Today magazine.
