Released seven years after previous LP Volition, Palimpsest is the new studio album from prog metal icons Protest the Hero. Embracing the band's outspoken politics, the project sees the group reflect on contemporary U.S. issues, including patriotism, propaganda, and the country's imperial legacy. Executive-produced by Derya Nagle (Good Tiger, the Safety Fire), the project saw release in June of 2020.
