Despite only one solo album to his name (2009's Balada Sertaneja), Na Balada was the second time that former Grupo Tradicao frontman Michel Teló decided to commit a live performance to record, following 2010's Ao Vivo. Its 15 tracks include his cover version of Cangaia de Jegue's "Ai Se Eu Te Pego," the global number one single that has since gone on to become a regular football celebration favorite; the singles "Fugidinha" and "Se Intrometeu"; and duets with Bruninho e Davi ("Vamo Mexê") and brother Teófilo ("Pensamentos Bons").
