An entertaining, lavish, and sometimes a bit pretentious concert album from Diana Ross. It was the first album that really presented how a typical Ross live performance sounded, and that proved both complimentary and negative. The staged conversations, often awkward monologues, and rough pacing were balanced by some excellent performances, and the album was produced well enough to keep her voice at the core of the sound. It's not an essential purchase, but it's worth getting if it turns up in an oldies collection.
