A young French duo from team Roche Musique, these two musicians had already released an EP back in 2016. Born in the 90s, Duñe, singer, and Crayon (born Lauren without the “t”) explore a laid-back electronic soul, that’s sophisticated, subtle and appealing. “Hundred Fifty Roses” is a success and is comprised of several gems like the hypnotic “Slowdiving”, flawless and spellbinding, encapsulating the strangeness of an unexpected meeting in the middle of the night… With a slowness, liquidity and sensuality, “Hundred Fifty Roses” keeps delivers on its promise throughout its thirteen tracks and should satisfy all aficionados of neo-soul from D’Angelo and Erykha Bady to Frank Ocean. From the first listen, the album flaunts top-level American production. We now wait to see this duo mount the stage to see if the magic of “Hundred Fifty Roses” can come to life.
