In a triumph of truth in advertising, the five young men who make up Brutha are in fact brothers: Grady, “Papa,” Jacob, Jared, and Ant Harrell. While they’ve gained renown for their reality show, "Brothers to Brutha," documenting their music-biz rise, they’re first and foremost a quintet of soulful R&B crooners, and their self-titled debut album shows them to be adept at conjuring up romantic moods atop arrangements that neatly avoid the usual slow-jam cliches.
