This CD literally opened the doors for one of salsa's most commercially successful acts in history. Seventeen-year-old Jerry Rivera's second recording is a mixture of youthful appeal, believable singing skills, and suitable romantic material (the erotic content, much to the benefit of the newer, more tastefully romantic material, is mercifully pushed to the side). "Dime," "Esa Niña," "Como un Milagro," and "Nada Sin Tí" were tunes that defined a new breed of salsa singers who adroitly captured the interest of the younger followers. An indisputable smash that's one of the most lucrative recordings of its time.
