Gummibär

Gummibär is a virtual music project from Germany founded in 2006. The character, an animated green gummy bear, was created by Christian Schneider. The project combines electronic music with humorous animations and is aimed primarily at children and families. The international breakthrough came in 2007 with the single "I'm a Gummy Bear (Ich bin dein Gummibär)", which was released in over 50 languages. In Germany, the song reached number 53 in the singles charts and stayed there for nine weeks. The single went double platinum in the USA and gold in Norway. Gummibär's discography includes several studio albums: "I Am Your Gummy Bear" (2007), "La La Love to Dance" (2010), "Party Pop" (2015) and "The Gummy Bear Album" (2019). He has also released soundtracks for the animated series The Gummy Bear Show as well as various compilations and remix albums. Gummy Bear's musical style combines dance, pop and electronic elements. The songs are characterized by catchy melodies and simple lyrics. The character is known for her energetic performances and colorful videos. With over 30 billion views on social media, Gummibär is one of the most successful independent music projects on the web. In addition to music, the brand also includes merchandise, apps and its own TV series.
