Girishh Gopalakrishnan

Indian music composer, singer and producer Girishh Gopalakrishnan (Tamil: கிரிஷ் கோபாலகிருஷ்ணன்; born on 26 September 1986 in Tanjore, Tamil Nadu) is known best for his work in the Tamil film industry and rose to fame in 2012 as the music director of Tamil-language comedy drama film Marina. He reached a wider audience with the 2013 Indian Tamil thriller Vidiyum Munn (Before Dawn), directed by Balaji K. Kumar, with the score recorded in Manchester, UK featuring players from the esteemed BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. His career continued to develop in leaps and bounds with soundtrack placements for 2017 Indian horror film Aval (in Tamil) and The House Next Door in Hindi, 2021 Indian Tamil-language crime thriller Netrikann (transl. The Third Eye), and 2022's comedy-drama Super Senior Heroes.
