Pierrejean Gaucher
A guitarist who emulated Frank Zappa, Pierrejean Gaucher created the New Trio in 1992 (the Pick's Dilemmaalbum came out in 1995), expanding into a quintet for the Zappe Zappa project (1998). The Phileas Band interlude in 2000 was followed by a new collaboration with Christophe Godin and the album 2G in 2006. Comprising two volumes released in 2009 and 2012, Melody Makers is divided between a section devoted to covers and another to original repertoire.
