Best known as vocalist for both Alter Bridge and Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash's backing band, Myles Kennedy released his official debut solo album, Year of the Tiger, which he'd been working on for a decade. Marking a departure from his usual hard rock style, the album featured an acoustic blues/Americana sound and was a conceptual work based around Kennedy's childhood and the death of his father. The tracks "Year of the Tiger" and "Haunted by Design" are included.
