Elegance. If we only had one word to summarize this (great) album, there is no doubt that "elegance" would be part of the victors, elbow to elbow with "class" and "luxurious". Natalia M. King was born in Brooklyn, NY. She saw all the United States only to take up residence in France, she had to play on the subway to gain recognition, and she has impressed on all of the tracks here. These were composed and written mostly by the lady herself, with her vocals nothing short of relaxed perfection. Accompanied by a light piano and a saxophone that alternates between screaming and whispering, blues and jazz are the order of the day. Retaining an undeniable soul spirit throughout, the singer captivates the listener in a velvet danc. It can even take the famous theme of Take Five on Baby Brand New. © AR / Qobuz
