After eight mixtapes, an EP, a shelved album, and numerous accolades through much of the 2010s, Tink finally offers her first proper album, Hopeless Romantic. Released on Valentine's Day 2020, it favors one-on-one slow jams and introspective ballads over the tough rhymes Tink can deliver with equal aptitude. Sleek, straightforward, and concise, it plays to the artist's strength as a candid songwriter who can switch from pensive to lustful with ease. While Tink has never been one to load a project with guest appearances, it's rather remarkable that there are none here.
