Released in 2012, Feels Like Christmas is a somewhat brief ten-song compilation culled mostly from Al Green's two mid-'80s Christmas LPs. While there's nothing particularly special about the selection of holiday standards, they all benefit from Green's legendary voice and soulful treatment. He's at his best applying his smoky tenor to warm ballads like "I'll Be Home for Christmas" and "The Christmas Song." While the inclusion of Green's 1976 non-Christmas track "Glory Glory" tagged on at the end seems a bit odd, it's a fine track, nonetheless.

Released in 2012, Feels Like Christmas is a somewhat brief ten-song compilation culled mostly from Al Green's two mid-'80s Christmas LPs.
