On his third effort in a year, Comethazine concludes his mixtape trilogy with Bawskee 3.5. Another aggressive set of dark, atmospheric trap, Volume 3 (.5) features the popping single "Just Saying" and the highlight -- a near-a cappella screed "Stand," which makes a clever callback to Bawskee 2's "Benjamin Counter." While not much has changed -- both in regards to lyrical content and production quality -- listeners in need of another dose of the Bawskee will be pleased with this fresh dozen. Upon release, Bawskee 3.5 was Comethazine's highest-charting effort to date, rising to 53 on the Billboard 200 and peaking just outside the Top 20 on the R&B/Hip-Hop and Rap charts.
