Milton
Mixing the tuckin’-on-black-coffee, heartland rock & roll of Bob Seger with the gentle-humor folk rock of John Prine, and delivering it to the 2000s coffeehouse generation, singly named Milton dredges tremendous American soul out of a somewhat slight frame. Milton worked the New York City folk scene beginning in the 1990s and between his eerily dark-etched voice and his inviting, somewhat anachronistic, melancholy country-folk compositions, he earned a fleet of devoted fans by the late '00s.
