Los Malandrines

San Joaquin, CA-based foursome Los Malandrines (the Malicious) comprises bassist Euler, drummer Héctor, singer/accordionist Esau and "bajo sexto" player Claudia Veronica. Los Malandrines started playing traditional Mexican rhythms at a young age mostly influenced by musician Arturo Montiel. Before signing up with BMG U.S. Latin, the Norteño ensemble debuted with La Suegra Metiche and El Lengua Suelta on their own Olmeca Music. In 2002 their 10-track record De Malandrin A Malandrin featured the hit single "Desmadrozo y Cabrón," written by Los Razos' Sacramento Ramírez.
