Jay Clarke
One of the UK's best-known drag queens and fashion icons, Jodie Harsh was born in Canterbury, Kent in 1985 and conceived her drag persona as a way to earn money while studying journalism at the London College of Fashion. She launched her first club night, Circus, at London's Soho Revue Bar in 2006, which draw the glitterati to its dancefloor with celebrity DJs often booked to play, and soon established itself as one of central London's best nightspots. After retiring Circus in 2011, she set up various other club nights during the '10s, including Room Service, also racking up DJ gigs all over the world, from Sydney Mardi Gras and Glastonbury Festival to a resident DJ slot at famed Ibiza party Manumission. She has dabbled with television over the years, appearing as herself in 2016's Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie alongside Jennifer Saunders, Joanna Lumley, and Kate Moss, and popping into the second series of Drag Race UK as a DJ in February 2021. After taking a string of remixes to the top of Billboard's Dance Chart and scoring a raft of writing and production credits including work for Charli XCX and Example, she signed to Warner in 2021 and dropped her first single, "My House" that year, with the follow-up, "No Sleep", also landing in 2021. 2022 saw the release of disco-house thumper "Good Time".
