Amrik Singh
Born on June 10th, 1977 in Durgapur, West Bengal, Indian hip-hop and pop firebrand Mika Singh is a rapper, singer, and performer who won acclaim for his 1998 track "Saawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag" from his first album, Greatest Indipop Album Ever. He released a number of subsequent albums in its wake, including Ishq Brandy (2000), Gabru (2001), Jaan Qurban (2002), and Something Something (2006), before graduating to film soundtracks, singing "Dil Tod Ke Na Ja" for 2006 movie Pyaar Ke Side Effects, as well as "Tabahi Tabahi for 2009 film Jugaad, among other projects. He began his ascension to the top in the '10s with a number of hit songs, including "Aapka Kya Hoga (Dhanno)" for the film Housefull and "Aa Re Aa Re" for 2013 movie Besharam. Having released a steady stream of solo albums alongside his work as a playback singer, 2022 saw the release of a new album, Majnu.
