Featuring the likes of Boney M.'s Liz Mitchell, Uriah Heep vocalist John Lawton, and Silver Convention's Linda G. Thompson, the Les Humphries Singers, the brainchild of the English-born composer, were one of the most successful German acts of the early '70s. The 2005 release Greatest Hits -- Das Beste gathers 23 of their most popular songs, in remastered form, including debut single "Rock My Soul," breakthrough hits "Mexico" and "Mama Loo," the 1976 Eurovision Song Contest entry "Sing Sang Song," and the orchestral theme tune to the TV show Derrick.
