Tim Curry
After starring in the cult 60s show, HAIR, versatile actor and singer Tim Curry shot to fame in 1973, when he created the role of the outrageous Dr. Frank ‘N’ Furter in Richard O’Brien’s phenomenally successful THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, singing lead on its show-stopper "Do the Time Warp." In 1975, he reprised the part in New York, and starred in the film adaptation (an enduring cult phenomenon), entitled THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW. Curry was nominated for a 1983 Tony Award for his performance in the title role of the Broadway production of AMADEUS, and in 1993, he received another Tony nomination for his performance as the ageing swashbuckler Alan Swann in MY FAVORITE YEAR. The imposing presence of Curry graced the screen as well in films ranging from CLUE to THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER.
