Ninos Con Bombas
Latin ska-punkers Niños con Bombas were led by singer/guitarist Daniel Puente, a native of Santiago, Chile who previously led the punk outfit the Pinochet Boys. During a two-year trip around the world, Puente landed in Berlin, where he befriended bassist and Brazilian expatriate Alex Menck; the two soon began writing songs together, forming Niños con Bombas with German drummer Norman Jankowsky. Debuting in 1997 with De Tiempo en el Momento de la Explosion, the trio returned a year later with El Niño.
