The Gin Blossoms' debut EP Up & Crumbling is an appealing five-song slice of jangly power-pop, filled with ringing hooks and sweet melodies. Since two of the songs (including "Alison Road") wound up on their full-length debut New Miserable Experience and a couple others became B-sides, its value has decreased somewhat, but it remains an engaging listen.
