Malian punk-blues group Songhoy Blues return with the follow-up to their phenomenally successful debut Music in Exile. Resistance features guest vocals from Iggy Pop, Stealing Sheep, and Elf Kid, and was recorded at London's Pool Studio with producer Neil Comber (M.I.A., Goldfrapp, Django Django). Lead single "Bamako" pays homage to the exciting nightlife of Mali's capital city with a high-energy track imbued with a deep groove.
