Tenside
Tenside is a metal band from Germany that was founded in 2005. Stylistically, the Munich rockers started out in the nu metal genre. Later, elements from the groove and modern metal genres can be found. The band has been compared to other greats such as In Flames, Machine Head and Soulfly. After the demo CD Insolence in 2005, the band won a contest organized by the radio station Antenne Bayern. As a result, Tenside play at the Young and Free Festival on Nuremberg's Zeppelinfeld in the summer of 2005 in front of over 25,000 spectators. In 2007, Tenside released their first official album, My Personal War. Further albums followed in the following years. Extensive concert tours and festival appearances raise Tenside's profile. The band also gained fans internationally, touring Europe and playing a few shows in China in 2014. In 2020, Tenside achieved their first chart entry in Germany with the album Glamour & Gloom at number 45. A short artistic break follows. Four years later, Tenside returned with their eighth studio album Come Alive Dying. The longplayer climbs into the top 10 in Germany at number 6.
