An old Ros favorite, "Ole Mambo," is revived, this time with bullfight-crowd cheers but not Ros singing "Olly Olly Olly." (Another hit Ros did not miss is "Tico Tico.") The influence of Herb Alpert is obvious in several selections, and the one track Ros sings is "Cuban Love Song." The tunes may not have been missed, but the arrangements are new; overall, Latin Hits is one of the most even efforts (good but not great) of this period of Ros.
