Dit langverwachte zevende album van de Finse symfonische metalband is de opvolger van Dark Passion Play uit 2007 en de bijbehorende soundtrack van een film met dezelfde naam, over een bejaarde componist op zijn sterfbed die terugdenkt aan zijn jeugd. Het is het tweede album met de nieuwe zangeres Anette Olzon, die op betwiste wijze de geliefde Tarja Turunen verving in 2007. We zien haar meer gegroeid in haar rol, terwijl de muziek theatraler, bombastischer en melodieuzer dan ooit tevoren klinkt. De single “Storytime” staat erop.
