Interesting arrangements and memorable hooks makes this reissue a better overall affair than their Philly Groove albums. Originally released on Gold Mine in 1977, new member Ursula Herring joins Rochelle Fleming and Annette Guest on this fanciful disco excursion. Clubbers like "Doctor Love" and "Indian Giver," and infectious midtempo numbers like "Let No Man Put Asunder" and "Gamble on Love" get the feet moving. The judicious use of strings, especially on their thumping, sensual remake of Stevie Wonder's "Love Having You Around," one of their better sides, is most effective.
