Het feit dat Slipknot gebruik maakt van lelijkheid op hun vierde album komt niet geheel als een verrassing, noch is het onwelkom, want het is geen teruggang, maar meer een samenbundeling van kracht. Met All Hope leek het lange tijd dat Slipknot dit soort druk zou blijven toepassen, deze uitbarsting van zeer donkere, ingewikkelde riedels. Deze uitbarsting is zo effectief dat, wanneer alles wat zachter wordt, het lijkt of het album instort als een soufflé. Dat komt vooral omdat de langzamere momenten de rare tendens van de groep benadrukken om te klinken als anonieme actieve rock, omdat ze hun ritmes versimpelen en de dubbele bas drum wat minder gebruiken.

Albumbeschreibung
Het feit dat Slipknot gebruik maakt van lelijkheid op hun vierde album komt niet geheel als een verrassing, noch is het onwelkom, want het is geen teruggang, maar meer een samenbundeling van kracht. Met All Hope leek het lange tijd dat Slipknot dit soort druk zou blijven toepassen, deze uitbarsting van zeer donkere, ingewikkelde riedels. Deze uitbarsting is zo effectief dat, wanneer alles wat zachter wordt, het lijkt of het album instort als een soufflé. Dat komt vooral omdat de langzamere momenten de rare tendens van de groep benadrukken om te klinken als anonieme actieve rock, omdat ze hun ritmes versimpelen en de dubbele bas drum wat minder gebruiken.
