That means, although "Release Me" and other early hits are included, they are all presented in inferior live versions. Furthermore, his original material -- though professionally performed -- pales next to his early material, so the compilation is unnecessary and it certainly should not be mistaken for an essential collection, nor an introduction to the singer.
