About Playlist
It is a well-known fact that sums up the situation well: America has had more than forty presidents, but only one king! Born on January 8, 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi, Elvis Aaron Presley spent only 42 years on earth, but his influence on music, culture and the American nation cannot really be measured. An aura that surpasses the very personification of the rock idiom. Voice, music, provocative gesture and look: everything is there to polish every corner of the Presley icon, initially idol of the teenagers in quest of rebellion and who will become a simply globally popular idol. The King is the first to associate rock'n'roll and attitude. In Memphis, in the Sun studios of the great producer Sam Philips, this unusual blend of rhythm'n'blues, country, hillbilly, gospel, blues, bluegrass and wild energy was born.
