The fourth album by Italian pop sensation Zero Assoluto finds the duo of Matteo Maffucci and Thomas De Gasperi tweaking their sound for their most synth pop-oriented work to date. The experiment is successful insofar as it adds a chilling, enigmatic gloss to their well-known formula, but soon enough, after the electro opening salvo of "Perdermi" and first single "Questa Estate Strana," the duo is back to its trademark ballads for the remainder of this rather brief album. A digital edition adds an acoustic version of "Questa Estate Strana."
